"Civil society is an important fundamental factor for the state in the process of rebuilding man and the stones during the coming phase; the governmental and non-governmental efforts should be intensified in the future on a complementary basis and in the interest of the Syrian People and of their all regions,"

"Among the first priorities on which civil society should focus are the social, educational and cultural activities, and not only the humanitarian and relief ones; so as to guarantee the best building for the Syrians and as expand such activities to the country sides and not only to be restricted to city centers,"

'' Every one of you is willing to sacrifice for your country as a new power for Syria and Syrians, which could change the course of the war at different junctures modifying social concepts prevailing for long years,''

Mrs. Asma Al-Assad, the First Lady of Syria addressing a group of Syrian heroines soldiers and their mothers on Mother's Day, March 21, 2018.

''With us today are some mothers whose son is martyred and daughter wounded…I know there are women who have not only one of their daughters on the frontline but two,''

''You are in deeds are sacrificing as to safeguard the integrity of Syria...you have been doing a great job and the doors are open before the Syrian heroine women with no distinction,''

''You are the flourishing roses who beautified  Damascus and  all other Syrian governorates with every night shift, bullet , training and with every clash , every morning message sent to your mothers .. with every injury after every battle  …you become more powerful and more steadfast…''

Mrs. Asma Al-Assad, the First Lady of Syria addressing a group of Syrian heroines soldiers and their mothers on Mother's Day, March 21, 2018.

''You are more steadfast than some young men because you at hard times were on the frontline when they ran away or were hiding themselves…''

Mrs. Asma Al-Assad, the First Lady of Syria addressing a group of Syrian heroines soldiers and their mothers on Mother's Day, March 21, 2018.

''You are the flowers but in need become thorns- against terrorists and enemies- …you are mothers too defending your big mother, Syria, and defending Syria as your small daughter who does need your tenderness, care and sacrifice with blood. Surely in the future you would be the real mothers  and the strength and power in your eyes have increased the sight of tenderness, tranquillity and calmness bestowed on life by women.''

Mrs. Asma Al-Assad, the First Lady of Syria addressing a group of Syrian heroines soldiers and their mothers on Mother's Day, March 21, 2018.
