DAMASCUS JANUARY 3, 2009- His Excellency President Bashar Al-Assad discussed with His Russian Counterpart Dmitry Medvedev today the dangerous conditions in Gaza Strip because of the Israeli continued aggression and the crimes committed by Israel against the children, women and men of Gaza, and the deliberate destruction of Gaza infrastructure including mosques, schools, hospitals and universities.

 His Excellency President Al-Assad called President Medvedev to increase   international moves as to put pressure on Israel to halt its massacres against the Palestinian People, ending the siege imposed on Gaza Strip, opening crossings, ending the suffering of the Palestinians under detested occupation, which every day violates all Conventions, legislations, and International Accords.
