DAMASCUS 4 November 2007  His Excellency President Bashar Assad issued Law 32 today permitting all non-Syrian investors to own, rent, and invest the land and real estate necessary for the  their projects and their enlargement inside the Syrian Industrial Cities.

 President Assad’s new law is highly appreciated as a strong motivation for the bolstering of investment in the country noting that the new law has also permitted even a size of  land larger than that permitted by the definite ownership specified in related laws and regulations provided that the land is restrictively to be used for the purpose of the investors projects.

 Attracting foreign investors as to bolster the Syrian Economy has been one of the major interests of President Assad.
